When you have two or more motorised vehicles moving around a layout it quickly becomes apparent that you need to have your wits about you at all times in order to avoid the inevitable collision or mis-routing.

Whilst this is fine for a few minutes of operation running a large layout for an extended period of time is probably going to be more of a challenge than most people would like to face so I have been investigating how to make things easier by adding more control and automation.
