Redhill will require a fair number of vehicles, both moving and stationary, to convey a mid-1970s atmosphere. Here is a selection that have been prepared for the layout. They will also feature as examples in a forth-coming book (details later) with step-by-step guides showing how they were done. First up is a Cararama Mini Traveller which has seen better days. Additions to this model include etched windscreen wipers in place of the printed ones, wing mirrors, registration plates, tax disc and a bit of rust.

This Ford Zephyr estate started life as a Husky die-cast toy. After a complete strip-down it has had new wheels (Cararama Austin Healey), windscreen wipers, wing mirrors, tax disc and registration plates added. I had intended to finish it off as a complete rust-bucket, but it looked so smart that I haven't had the heart. Yet.

This is what the Zephyr looked like when I purchased it (off eBay by the way).

The Police 1100 was mentioned in the last update, as were the Scalescenes arches.
