Albert Wright’s Faller Car System Layout

Albert Wright has built a large layout using the Faller Car System and has attended a number of model railway exhibitions with it.

The original layout, shown here, measured 8’ by 4’ although it has since been extended. In its revised version there are extensions at either end and a railway track along the front. Lorries drive on to flat wagons and are carried along the layout by train and then drive off at the other end.

Albert is also experimenting with working traffic lights and collision avoidance systems using infra-red.
